Visit of Prof. Serena Best
Prof. Dr. Serena Best, co-director of the Cambridge Centre for Medical Materials (CCMM) and academic member of the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy, University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, visited our Institute on 1st July. She was the invited speaker at the 12th Scientific Seminar of the Emerging Fields Initiative (EFI) funded project: “Bioactive materials, cell and tissue printing: New therapeutic approaches for organ level tissue engineering and regenerative medicine” (TOPbiomat), at which she presented the lecture: “Scaffolds for hard and soft tissue regeneration”. We are currently collaborating with the CCMM in the framework of the EU funded project “Reinforced Bioresorbable Biomaterials for Therapeutic Drug Eluting Stents” (ReBioStent) .
