On 6th December 2019 Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini and Qaisar Nawaz (PhD student) attended the progress meeting of the DFG funded project on advanced microstructural characterisation of bioactive glasses and glass-ceramics, held at Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems (IMWS), group Nanomaterials and Nanoanalytics (GNN) (Head: Prof. Dr. Thomas Höche), in Halle, Germany. The project is a joint research effort in which researchers from IMWS Halle, the Institute of Biomaterials at FAU and the group of Prof. Delia Brauer,  at Otto Schott Institute of Materials Research, University of of Jena, are collaborating.
